wax classic is a brand new skylax sub � label. for this 3rd release, we give you the opportunity to grab 5 fantastic trax done by housemaster : jason grove.born in detroit, he started his career in the late 80s, dj-ing in underground parties when the techno house movement was just at the beginning. he was invited few times on detroit local stations such as wdrq & wjlb to play. some said he was at that time very close to the >wizard<, helping producing their first tracks with anthony srock as final cut. he had many opportunities during the 90s to release some of his work on various prestigious labels, however, as the guy is really hardcore & straight edge, he prefered to continue producing only with analog gears (dont ever speak to him about a computer or he?ll get mad !) & record his work on cassette only, selling it to indie stores & giving it to friends for some special events (birthday, graduation ect ... !). after the incredible release we had on wax classic 1 (another skylax sub � label), you can grab finally the 2 nd part of those legendary tapes.

alberto pascual analytic trail after anagrams ep in 2010, releases for the second time a project of one of the most internationally famous spanish producers, alberto pascual. his works have been played by richie hawtin, dubfire, markantonio, adam beyer, cristian varela, joseph capriati and others techno giants. bailando, is a creative and tasteful ep formed by four track, including a remix of manuel anos a.k.a. psyk, already reached the success with is project released on richie hawtins minus label. the first track is bailando, it has a powerful charge with its massive groove and obstinate synth that flies hasty on a swarm of rides. no breaks in this tune, techno device. bailando continues to leave its mark through another spanish producer, his name is manuel anos a.k.a. psyk. he creates an amazing remix made by a weighty kick and a compressed bassline, this compact but hard beat is surrounded by acid sounds and increasing effects that make of this track a dark techno wave of course.amok has a rousing modulation that directs the track in a swinging vibe with linear claps and hihats. but is just the beginning, after few minutes something changes, a dirty synth in background starts to support an hurry beat that goes on till the break. here everything seems to quiet till the restart, where the ride rules and nobody cant avoid its rage. final lap with homonymous track of this ep. this artist on this tune can show his eclecticism using a techno unbreakable step with electronic cyclic string. wonderful underground soundtrack. so young, so strong, so techno. this is another quality touch for analytic trail, good music must be appreciated.

after several appearances on the label, kareem comes up trumps again with an excellent first solo single release backed by a wonderful remix from white doyen oskar offermann himself.how low can you go the opener track acts as a discreet, structured, driving and some how dubby house tune that keeps a nice layer of grit beneath the fingernails. its loopy character imparts the feeling of virtually remaining unchanged but it nevertheless staidly evolves within its sonic borders and imparts a sensual quality of all-enveloping warmth. oskar offermanns interpretation of how low can you go introduces skipping melodies that are transmitted as choppy discoesque pulses and rhythmic modulated bass sounds are the preferred form of punctuation. indeed the remix is intended to be a dj tool, but like all of oskar offermanns recent house works, it builds smoothly as though every element was simply waiting in the wings to make its appearance at the proper moment, and � just before it finishes up � sounds like it could go on forever.
